Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies

1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
3/4 c. butter
2 tbsp. boiling water
1 tsp. soda
2 c. oatmeal
1 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
Dash of salt
1 egg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Whip together butter and sugar. Mix in flour, baking soda, salt, and morsels. Spoon out tablespoon sized scoops 1 inch apart onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes.
