Hummus

This is a simple tasty hummus made with canned garbanzo beans and a food processor. You can use cooked dry beans if you like, but canned beans have vastly improved quality these days and can often be better (unless you have a known good consistent source of dry beans). Plus, with canned beans this recipe takes less than 15 minutes.

1 can garbanzo beans 16 oz.
1/4 cup of diced yellow or white onion
1-2 Tbl Lemmon Juice
1-2 Tbl Tahini
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp cummin
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 cup Italian Parsely leaves
drizzle some olive oil (2 tsp)

Drain the garbanzo beans and place into the food processor, but save some of the liquid in a cup to add back in case you need to control the consistency. Add all other ingredients to the food process, and pulse to chop and blend until you get the consistency you like. If it's too dry, you can add back some of the saved liquid from the beans, or water.
